Come along to the Milton Park bowling green and have a go at lawn bowls, a great summer sport to enjoy which can be both social and competitive. Free taster sessions are being held on Monday afternoons at 2 pm and Tuesday evening at 6 pm from Monday 22 April until Tuesday 28 May hosted by Milton Park Ladies Bowling Club These sessions are for anyone to try their hand at bowling.  Bring your partner, your relatives and your pals.   All you need are flat shoes - the bowls will be provided. Do join us at this years picnic - bring a blanket and a picnic and make a family day of it.   We start just after 1pm on Saturday 1st June and as usual, we will be on the Green at St James Hospital (just off the main driveway entrance in Locksway Road). This year we have TOILETS!   :-) Plus all of the usual activities:  A dog show, kids races, Punch & Judy, bouncy castle, tea, cakes and ice-cream plus lots of stalls and stands with everything from our tombola and Pompey Pluckers to charities, craft stands and garden plants.
